The promise of this workshop is to dive into the anatomy of the human body with yoga in mind. This is unique in that some anatomy is taught from a purely physical perspective. Dr. Offutt believes that combining anatomy with yoga creates an amazing understanding of not only which parts of the body function in what way, but, also, how these body parts connect, move, expand, contract, support, and serve the needs of the soul. Each student will leave with a new level of understanding the anatomy of breathing, the nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, and other important body systems. Dr. Offutt will be teaching about how to manage limitations and decrease pain and body distresses through the understanding of anatomy in the context of yoga. Please join us for this exciting and informative time together!

About Dr. Offutt
Amy Offutt, M.D., is a certified yoga teacher and an integrative medicine physician in central Texas. She has always loved functional anatomy and is excited to share her passion for health, healing, and yoga with yoga teacher students and anyone else interested in learning more about this interesting aspect of science, spirit, and the body as a whole being. Amy has also trained with Baron Baptiste attending the Baptiste Institute’s Level 1 & Level 2 Programs. She is married to Brad Offutt, who is also a yoga and health enthusiast and a seasoned yoga teacher. They have 3 kids and live in Marble Falls, Texas.
A secluded jungle eco-lodge overlooking the surf at Playa Maderas, 8km north of San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua. Guests will switch off their smartphones, unwind and give in to the simple life, surrounded by lush forest and the Pacific ocean. This is a place for people who want something different – to stay in a cabaña amongst the trees, share family-style meals with like-minded people, watch the sunset and the stars from our deck in the treetops, and stroll five minutes to pristine beaches.
Cost is only $1,200 which includes 2 meals per day, daily yoga, guided meditations and all the chillaxing you can manage. Hold your space for only $500. Airfare not included.
