Patrick, co-owner of Half Moon Power Yoga is a Certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher, veteran, father and husband of 17 years. He lives with a philosophy of never stop growing, Patrick brings to the community a zest for life and as a powerful teacher, he challenges his students to drop what they think they know and reach beyond into a life of possibility.
Michelle an RYT-200 and co-owner of Half Moon Power Yoga leads a breath-focused class that strengthens the body and balances the mind. In her classes, students learn to practice with grace on the mat and to live by grace off of the mat.
Michelle encourages her students to approach their practice with intention, an open mind and a playful spirit. Ever grateful for the balance and flexibility yoga adds to her life, she enjoys leading classes of all levels and watching students discover their own strengths.
April creates a supportive environment filled with guidance through each pose, while offering amplifications and modifications. Her class focuses on using breath as a tool to calm the mind, stay present and stay in the pose. April’s goal is to help students find their edge in their practice and challenge them to do more than they ever thought possible. She desires to share her love of yoga to everyone she encounters.
Sumerlin leads a fiery class, with loads of encouragement. Sumerlin’s goal is to help each student realize their full potential, knowing what we practice on the mat, follows us into life. Sumerlin believes community is incremental to growth in one’s yoga practice, and meeting one’s goals, and therefore fosters connection in every class.
“Yoga Steve” focuses on a strong body and mind through a powerful and fun practice. He concentrates on linking the power of yoga on and off the mat, living a healthy lifestyle and empowering students to step out of their comfort zone. Erin Mills, an RYT 200 certified teacher, has been practicing Baptiste Yoga since 2011. She recently completed both the Expand your Power 200-hour training, and Art of Assisting in 2017 through Baptiste Institute. She has a fun-filled personality that overflows into her teaching style. Her classes are fun, energetic, and challenging, yet they leave you feeling refreshed!
Laura teaches with an open heart. She believes Yoga is a magical connection between the Mind, the Body, and the Spirit. As a practicing pediatric physician she has discovered that what is lacking in Western Medicine can be found in the ancient teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda. It is her intention to share this magic with her students one yoga class at a time.
Diane Benvenuto challenges her classes to approach their yoga practice mindfully, to listen to their inner teacher and taking it one breathe at a time to reach their personal edge. Diane’s classes are encouraging, playful and upbeat offering different options to asanas to meet the needs of different bodies.
Madeline started practicing yoga to deal with the stress of college which is why she is dedicated to bringing yoga to as many people as possible. Her class is designed to help her students discover how yoga can benefit them. Madeline creates an invigorating and informative flow that will show her students that everyone can do yoga!
